TO whom it may concern:
Thursday is the end of the second week of hand-holding by our mentor Ray, making 4 x 2 sessions todate!
There are a few outstanding students who have revised and done their homework against a fair number who are still struggling with their perception of basic principles from the Q & A during these sessions.
This suggests to me that some guidelines are in order to give a lift to the majority. From my own observations:
1.In the first week of hand-holding, there was much energy during the sessions. Why? They were still enjoying revisions in the form of lectures by our mentor. Some did lots of revisions at home but many were quite happy to listen rather than to immerse themselves in more home work.
2. Mondays and Tuesdays cover same topics/agendas, just as Wednesdays and Thursdays do. Hence, it would benefit students to try and attend on alternate days rather than to try and attend 3-4 sessions per week whenever there is a vacant seat.
3.Students are usually working during the day and by the time they arrive home from the hand-holding sessions which end at 10pm, they will be too tired to do any homework. They should therefore try to do revisions and homework the next night instead of attending again for the same topics.
4. Unless they start to do revisions and homework as soon as possible, they will never absorb the basic principles to participate during these sessions which are meant to guide them through to plan their strategy before taking a trade.
There are still 2 more weeks to go for the hand-holding, and it is time to revise completely all lecture notes and videos without further delay to better participate next week when there will be no more lectures but more Q&A when preparing to take the trades.

Have a good rest to recharge to start revisions during this weekend, ready to do more independent work next week onwards.
