BarroMetrics Views: TRT Live Trading November 24
TRT stands for Traders Round Table where on November 24, I’ll be looking to display the thinking processes I use to determine if there is a low risk trade.
A subsidiary aim is to showcase the new approach to using Barros Swings. Here’s why I needed a new approach….One of the problems I faced teaching the Barros Swings was this: it needs a computer to draw the swings. Many beginners are unwilling to buy the necessary software until they prove to themselves that they can make a go of trading. I fully understand their reluctance.
For this reason, my foundational seminar, the Habits of Success, centered its plan around the RSI. But this caused a disconnect with my higher levels: as the student moved up the ladder to Barros Swings and the Ray Wave, he had to learn a whole new tool.
But no more; I have found a way of distilling the Barros Swing into a simplified version that anyone can use without a computer. The computerised version is more efficient; but this distilled version produces effective results. More important this distilled version is perfect as a foundational tool.
But, as I said above, for November 24, the thrust of the three or four hours will be to showcase a way of thinking. In my view, it’s the mindset that separates the successful professional from the unsuccessful pack. In the past, I found the live trading a robust medium to drive the lessons home.
Singaporeans, here’s the registration link for the workshop: Ray Barros Live Trading; or you can e-mail Cheryl Ho at cho@tradersroundtable.com.sg. Be warned: Cheryl wrote to me earlier today:
“some updates…the 24th event is fully booked within 1st day of release to public + ‘pre-launch’ on Mon evening.”
I am told that 5 who registered have not paid, so you may be able to squeeze in; but you’ll need to contact Cheryl to confirm whether there are any slots available.
